Separate the Renewal Price From the Upfront Payment
Managed DayZ offers monthly, quarterly and semi-annual billing. Quarterly billing collects three months upfront, and semi-annual billing collects six.
Divide a recurring term total by its number of months to compare monthly equivalents. Budget for the full payment when it falls due, even if the equivalent monthly figure is lower.
Pay the stated term charge. Multiplying a rounded monthly equivalent by three or six can produce a different amount from the bill.

Do not add tax again if the quote includes it. Read the renewal and cancellation terms before paying, and keep promotional benefits separate from the ongoing price.
What the Managed DayZ Plan Includes
DayZ Architect+ customers can use VXPanel and CFTools Architect. The paid plan includes access to game files and configuration, VxShield DDoS protection and unlimited player slots under fair-use terms. There is no per-slot fee. You manage DayZ and its mods while we maintain the host OS.
The plan includes three same-server backup slots. Keep a current, verified copy outside VYKIX: a full-server or storage failure can affect local backups and live files together. Backup completion and restore time are not guaranteed, so include independent recovery in your budget.
Compare the managed plan or select the billing cycle and location. Check the paid listing for its included features and hardware. A trial may use a different configuration, so its performance results apply to the machine tested.
Per-Slot Pricing and the Cost of a 100-Slot Server
For a slot-based quote, write down the player cap, term and any minimum slot count. Check the renewal charge and add any extras before comparing it with other quotes.
On VYKIX managed DayZ, changing the cap adds no slot fee. Unlimited slots remain subject to fair use, and a higher cap does not add CPU or memory. A growing workload may need changes to the setup or another plan.
Before advertising 100 places, test the map, mods, scripts and player activity you expect. Setting 100 slots permits 100 connections; playable capacity depends on the workload and resources. Budgeting for DayZ on a Game VPS or Bare Metal
On Game VPS, you select the vCPU, memory and NVMe allocation and maintain the OS and DayZ. Include game files, mods, saves and backups in the storage budget, and allow time for updates and security. The stores list current Frankfurt and Chicago configurations and order totals.
With Frankfurt bare metal, you rent the complete machine. Check its specification, setup fee and selected options against the software and controls you need. The Windows option is an evaluation image; continued or production use requires a valid licence. Frankfurt’s optional Pterodactyl installation excludes DayZ.
If you plan to run several servers, tell us the workload and ask whether the plan allows it before ordering. Root access and a large machine do not automatically mean the plan permits several servers.

Free Trials and Migration Costs
When available, the DayZ trial lasts 48 hours, with a valid card required for fraud verification. There is no trial payment or automatic paid subscription. At expiry we suspend the service, then delete active data seven calendar days later. Export the files you need before expiry. Continuing requires a separate paid order, and paid hardware may differ.
