Player and base damage
Configure player and base damage in your chosen PvE mod's files. With another player, test melee, firearms and explosives against players and bases. A join password leaves these damage rules unchanged.
Safe zones and combat areas
For mixed PvE and PvP, record each zone's coordinates and boundary settings in the mod's configuration. Test attacks from inside to outside and outside to inside; check that a trader zone does not leave the rest of the map unprotected.

Patrols, custom objects and busy settlements add workload. Check server FPS and resource use during the encounters your community plans to run.

DayZ PvE hosting questions

Is there a separate price for DayZ PvE hosting?

PvE uses the standard managed DayZ PC plan. Install and configure the required mods in VXPanel. Your order total, including applicable taxes and fees, is shown before payment.

Will ordering this server turn off PvP?

No. You must configure the damage rules with a compatible mod and test them with another player. Passwords and whitelists restrict connections; they do not prevent admitted players from damaging each other.

Can I keep PvP areas on a PvE server?

Use a compatible zone mod with support for the arrangement you want. Follow its installed-version instructions and test both sides of each boundary, including cross-zone attacks. A trader safe zone does not establish the rules for the rest of the map.

Can Xbox or PlayStation players join?

The service hosts DayZ for PC on official PC maps or compatible Workshop community maps. Players need Frostline for Sakhal, along with the client content required by your chosen community maps and mods.

Can I test my PvE setup before paying for a plan?

Check DayZ trial availability in the portal. When available, the 48-hour trial lets you test mods and player connections. A valid card is needed for fraud verification, with no charge and no automatic paid subscription. Hardware on the trial can differ from a paid plan. Save the files you need before expiry and place a separate paid order to continue hosting.
