🖥️ Your Infrastructure
Section titled “🖥️ Your Infrastructure”Start with the specifications of the plan you ordered. CPU models, memory, storage and network options vary by product and location; a trial can use different hardware from a paid plan.
- Processor: Check the CPU model or vCPU allocation in your product sheet.
- Memory: Check the memory type and any allocation or fair-use terms for your plan.
- Storage: Check the storage type and space available for the game, mods, logs, updates and backups.
- Network: Use the interface and uplink options listed with your order. Test gameplay latency and player capacity with your workload; port speed alone won’t tell you either.
For managed DayZ PC hosting, the paid listing names an overclocked i9-14900K build with DDR5 memory and NVMe storage. This does not mean you rent the whole physical machine. Size and test your workload using the DayZ server requirements guide.
For VPS, use the vCPU, memory and storage allocation of your chosen tier. Root access makes you responsible for the operating system, installed software and access controls.
For bare metal, you rent the complete physical server described in your order. VYKIX lists overclocking, liquid cooling and a 72-hour burn-in as its build policy. Test your workload to see what clock the machine maintains and how many players it can handle.
🛡️ VxShield DDoS Protection
Section titled “🛡️ VxShield DDoS Protection”VxShield DDoS protection is included with every service at no extra cost. VYKIX manages protection for hosted game servers. On a VPS or bare metal server, configure the public ports you need in VxShield.

- Game-aware profiles for supported DayZ, Rust and Arma traffic

The filtering aims to preserve player connections during an attack. Check live game connections as well as browser replies, because cached status won’t tell you whether the game is healthy. 🎛️ Your Control Panel
Section titled “🎛️ Your Control Panel”Find the management tools for your service below.
Manage game servers in VXPanel, which provides:
- Mods for supported installation and load-order workflows
- Console for server activity and controls
- Files and SFTP for game files and configuration
- Schedules for supported recurring tasks
- Network for assigned connection details
Available controls depend on your service and account permissions. Before installing a mod, check its current dependencies and author instructions. The panel can install its files without confirming that it works with your setup.
For a VPS, sign in to Cloud Panel with the credentials sent by email. It provides OS management, resource monitoring and server controls.
For bare metal, use SSH on Linux or RDP on Windows with the access supplied for your service. The Remote Desktop Connection guide covers your first RDP connection. Match remote-access permissions in both VxShield and the operating-system firewall.

- 3 same-server backup slots to recover from failed edits or updates. A full-server or storage failure can affect these copies along with the live service. Keep a current copy outside VYKIX.
