Before installing a community map, read the author's requirements and dependencies and confirm it supports the DayZ version you run. Console hosting is not included.

Yes. Your hosted server includes upstream DayZ traffic filtering through VxShield without a DDoS add-on fee. VYKIX maintains its protection profile. For a community facing attacks at another host, share the incident times and symptoms so we can assess them before planning a move.

Check DayZ trial availability in the portal. We do not offer permanent free hosting. When available, the free trial lasts 48 hours and requires a card for fraud verification. There is no trial charge, and it does not become a paid subscription. Hardware on the trial can differ from the paid plan. After 48 hours we suspend the trial, then delete its active data seven calendar days after suspension. Export any files you need before expiry. Continued hosting requires a separate paid order.

DayZ Architect+ customers can use VXPanel and CFTools Architect. Our VXPanel walkthroughs show its controls. VXPanel gives you access to serverDZ.cfg, mission data and other game files, plus Workshop mod installation and load-order controls. Read the mod author's dependency and client-file instructions before installation. Test the complete mod set against your server's DayZ version.

Unlimited player slots are included under fair-use terms without an added per-slot fee. The player limit you can run depends on the map, mods and server activity. Pick an initial limit using the workload guide and measure busy sessions before increasing it.

You get three same-server backup slots with paid DayZ hosting. Take a recovery copy before setup changes and keep a current copy outside VYKIX. Because the included backups and live world use the same physical server, a server or storage failure can affect both.

Yes. Free migration help and seven days free are available to eligible switchers. Tell us your current host, data size, mod list, peak player count and preferred date. We check the files, confirm the scope of the move and agree on timing before starting.

Lag can involve the map, scripts, active players or network connections. Run a busy-session test of your intended setup and examine server logs alongside resource measurements. VxShield filters the attack traffic it supports. You still need to investigate mod behaviour and player connections as separate causes.
